Wooden rings do need a little more care and attention to ensure the wood remains protected, but they are capable of lasting a lifetime with proper care.

With our ring styles the wood is mostly protected by being set down into a metal base, and then covered with a waterproof acrylic finish. You may need to send your ring in on occasion for our free refinishing service if the protective coating over the wood wears away or becomes damaged. We replace this coating free of charge and only ask that customers cover the shipping costs associated with sending their ring in.

The protective acrylic coating means you can wear your ring while swimming, showering, using hand sanitizer and most daily activities without worry. However, it can be damaged by harsh chemicals so we recommend removing your ring when using cleaners or nail polish remover.

We can work with some of our customers' own materials. It is best to reach out to us with the materials you are looking to use and let our customer care team help you with your request.

We recommend you only consider using or reusing your own materials if it is for sentimental reasons, as it is often not budget friendly to do so seeing as there is a lot of work involved in processing raw materials or breaking down and reusing older jewelry.

We have our Perfect Fit guarantee to help you get the right fit. If you order your ring and it is not the right size, you have 30 days from the time you receive your ring to return it for a one-time resize for a fee equal to 15% of the original cost of the ring (rings with wooden inlays) or equal to the labor and materials required to resize the ring (all gold rings).

If you are buying a gift and are unsure of the size needed, reach out to us as we have tips and tricks we can share to help gauge the right size to order.

If the ring is for yourself we suggest you visit any local jeweler and ask to be sized for a ring in a comparable width and profile to the one you plan to order.
