Pear Solitaire in Purpleheart & Rose Gold

Regular price $2,155.00

A pear, or teardrop, shaped moissanite sits brilliantly in this cathedral style solitaire rose gold ring. Purpleheart wood, a wood with a natural eggplant color, is inlaid around the band creating an engagement ring that is unlike any other.

Moissanite is a lab-grown gem that is earth friendly and has all the shine and brilliance of a diamond while also being less costly, and we love it in this pear shape especially. But if you prefer another stone we’re happy to set this ring with the stone you’ve been dreaming of. Use our Contact Form to let us know if you'd like to use an alternate gemstone for this style.

To Keep Your Wood Inlay Jewelry Looking It's Best:

Keep your wood & gold jewelry away from harsh chemicals.

Examples of chemicals that may damage the waterproof acrylic finish on these pieces are chlorine, cleaning chemicals, and nail polish remover.

Avoid sharp objects and blunt force to prevent damage, scratches, dents, or gouges.

Wash with mild dish detergent using your fingers or a soft-bristle toothbrush, which is especially helpful to clean small areas or areas with a gemstone setting.

If you see signs of damage to the wood or protective coating over the wood, consider sending your ring for our free refinishing service (learn more)

    Gemstones:

If possible, remove your gemstone ring before getting your hands dirty or applying hand lotions or creams. Even hard water can leave a residue on gemstones that will dull their shine.

Most gemstones and settings can be cleaned at home with a mild dish soap and a soft toothbrush, but be careful not to aggressively scrub at the setting. Mix mild dish soap with water and let your jewelry soak for a few minutes, then gently brush under and around the settings to remove grime and dirt.

If your setting is very dirty, your stone looks dull, or the sparkle has dimmed and cleaning it with mild dish soap isn’t working, have your jewelry cleaned at a professional jeweler rather than using chemicals at home that may harm the stone.

Prongs getting caught on clothing, hair, or feeling scratchy could indicate that they have lifted away from your stone and need to be tightened. Any professional jeweler can provide this service.

Shipping is covered on new purchases over $100, and is sent UPS in US & Canada*—fully insured against loss or damage.

Returns and exchanges are accepted on all Northwood jewelry within 14 days of receiving your product(s). Products must be returned in original, unworn condition.
